Danielle Burkett

As an intern for WHAG I am at the site to learn as much as I can by interacting with staff, observing, and asking any questions I may have.

 

I am expected to show up in time for the 9:30am staff meeting where story ideas will be pitched and assigned it is also where I will find out which reporter I will be assigned to for the day. From there I will shadow the reporter learning about how to research stories, contact potential interviewees, filming and producing content for news stories, and finally how to edit to create the final piece that gets aired online. I am expected to show up on time, and interact as much as possible.
